Downstream Equipment Operator Wanted
RT Employment is currently hiring an experienced Downstream Equipment Operator for a leading beverage manufacturing facility in Aurora, Ontario. If you have experience operating packaging equipment in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, we’d like to hear from you.

✅ Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience operating packaging equipment in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
Experience with Tetra Pak downstream equipment is a strong asset
High school diploma or equivalent
Understanding of automated packaging equipment and PLC-controlled systems
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
📋 Responsibilities
Operate Tetra Pak capping and cardboard packing machines
Monitor equipment performance and make operational adjustments
Perform machine setup, cleaning, and product changeovers
Record lot codes using WOLF inventory management system with RF scanners
Record downtime and report equipment issues
Perform quality inspections and product testing
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and work with the maintenance team
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Optimize equipment performance to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Complete other duties as assigned
